SERVERS AT THE BLUEGILL GRILL ON TIMS FORD LAKE TULLAHOMA

Servers:

Days: 7 days a week, breakfast, lunch, & dinner shifts available

Hours: We open for breakfast at 8 am every day, kitchen closes at 8 during the week and 9 or 10 on the weekends. Shifts will vary, must be available nights and weekends at least 1-4 days per week.

Job Description: 10-15 positions available. Restaurant servers, all shifts, no experience required.  Responsible for taking and delivering orders, settling/managing checks in Restaurant Manager POS, prep work, general cleaning, providing customers with pleasant but prompt service.  Should be prepared for outdoor conditions to be extremely hot & humid during peak of summer—June/July/August—this is also our busiest time.  Business levels can become hectic but our servers usually make more tips than those at any other restaurant in the area.

Kitchen Manager:

Hours: At least 40 per week, predominantly nights and weekends. Overtime expected in mid-summer, average of 8 hours per week.

Job Description: 1 full time position available. Should be prepared for extremely large volume of customers--this can become hectic at times but fluctuates greatly from day to day, usually peaking on the weekends in June, July, & August.  No management experience required but some commercial kitchen experience is strongly recommended.  Applicants should be willing to provide leadership in a very fast-paced environment for a kitchen staff of 10-12.  The kitchen manager's responsibilities would include: scheduling the kitchen staff and assigning their tasks, weekly food orders, food prep, food quality, controlling waste, and maintaining the kitchen and prep kitchen facilities.

Hours: Wednesday & Friday 4 pm-9pm, Saturday & Sunday 12pm-10pm

Job Description: 1-2 positions available. Food expeditor, no experience required.  Responsible for completing plates with garnishes and sides, grouping orders by table, alerting servers when their order is ready, delivering orders as needed, prep work and cleaning as needed.  Should be prepared for outdoor conditions to be extremely hot & humid during peak of summer—June/July/August—this is also our busiest time when  business levels can become hectic.

Gaffers:

Days: 7 days

Hours: All shifts available, but predominantly nights and weekends.

Job Description: 5-6 positions available.  Gaffers are responsible for washing dishes, clearing tables, emptying garbage, stocking and unloading inventory, cleaning rental boats, and other duties as needed.  Should be prepared for outdoor conditions to be extremely hot & humid during peak of summer—June/July/August—this is also our busiest time when business levels can become hectic.
